Anisa Kisoon

Counsellor and Instructor at Visionary Gateway

Anisa began her health and well-being career as a fitness instructor and then became a P.E. teacher,  working in a number of schools across her home city in London. However, as she delved deeper into her passion to help others, she developed her own form of certified fitness, ‘Rakha’. A practice that involves connecting the mind, body and soul.  She has also travelled extensively to provide lectures on health and fitness, run classes, workshops, and personal training services to all.

Her versatile teaching methods have inspired thousands to make changes in their lives. In particular, through the practice of ‘hijama’ (‘cupping’). Anisa spearheaded the campaign for it to be accredited in the UK, and campaigned to local communities to adapt to a more healthier lifestyle. Her efforts were a success, and she got hijama, as a therapy, certified in 2006. This amazing treatment has benefited people all over the globe. In 2013, Anisa also certified the world’s first ever ‘hijama therapy blood analyst’ course. She was the first person to appear in the media to talk about hijama therapy and its benefits.

She has written a number of books and courses on holistic health and well-being which are finally getting published and has recently started a series called ‘Take Back Your Life’, which encourages people to take personal responsibility for the most essential areas of their lives.

She is the founder of ‘The HEAL Project’, which teaches organic farming, eco sustainability and has a social impact on those in need.

Her life’s ambition is to help heal humanity one community at a time.
